Refund Policy
Effective since February, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to press release writing, editing, distribution, media placement, multimedia support, and related services purchased from Big Press Wire.
1. Cancellations Before Work Begins
Clients may request a cancellation before writing, editing, reviewing, formatting, preparation, or distribution work begins.
When a cancellation is approved before work begins, Big Press Wire may issue a full refund, excluding any non-refundable payment-processing, transaction, or currency-conversion fees.
2. Orders Already in Progress
Once Big Press Wire has started writing, editing, reviewing, formatting, preparing, or coordinating a press release, the order is considered in progress.
Depending on the work already completed, Big Press Wire may offer the following:
- A partial refund
- Account credit
- Completion of the remaining service
- Delivery of the completed portion of the work
Refunds are not guaranteed after work has started.
3. Writing and Editing Services
Completed writing and editing services are non-refundable.
Clients may request reasonable revisions according to the revision limit included in the purchased package.
A difference in personal writing preference does not automatically qualify an order for a refund when the agreed service has been delivered.
4. Distribution and Media Placement
Press release distribution and media-placement fees become non-refundable once the press release has been submitted to a publisher, media outlet, distribution network, or third-party partner.
Refunds will not be provided because:
- A publisher delays publication
- A publisher edits or categorizes the press release
- A search engine does not index the publication
- A publication is later removed
- The press release receives limited views
- The release does not generate traffic, leads, sales, rankings, interviews, or media attention
Publisher decisions and marketing results are outside the direct control of Big Press Wire.
5. Rejected or Non-Compliant Content
Clients are responsible for submitting truthful, accurate, lawful, and properly authorized content.
A refund may not be provided when an order cannot proceed because the submitted content:
- Contains false or unverifiable claims
- Violates publisher guidelines
- Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, or other third-party rights
- Contains defamatory, illegal, deceptive, or misleading material
- Relates to restricted products, services, or industries
- Is not revised after requested compliance changes
When reasonably possible, Big Press Wire may allow the client to revise or replace the press release instead of cancelling the order.
6. Incorrect Information Approved by the Client
Clients must review all names, dates, links, quotations, facts, contact details, and other information before approving a press release.
Big Press Wire is not responsible for errors that were supplied or approved by the client.
Corrections requested after distribution may require an additional fee and may not be accepted by third-party publishers.
7. Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
Verified duplicate charges or billing errors will be corrected and refunded to the original payment method.
Clients should contact Big Press Wire promptly and provide the relevant order and payment details.
8. Services Not Delivered
When Big Press Wire is unable to provide the purchased service for reasons within its control, it may offer the following:
- A full refund
- A partial refund
- Account credit
- A replacement service
- An alternative distribution option of comparable value
The available resolution will depend on the portion of the service already completed.
9. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests must be submitted by email to info@bigpresswire.com
The request should include:
- Client name
- Order number
- Service purchased
- Payment date
- Reason for the request
Submitting a refund request does not guarantee approval. Each request will be reviewed according to the order status, service terms, and work already completed.
10. Approved Refunds
Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method whenever possible.
Banks and payment providers may require additional processing time before the refunded amount appears in the client’s account.
11. Chargebacks
Clients should contact Big Press Wire before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback so the matter can be reviewed and resolved.
Fraudulent or unjustified chargebacks may result in:
- Account suspension
- Cancellation of pending services
- Refusal of future services
- Submission of order and communication records to the payment provider
